Project 1 - Planting the Seed
Adopted School - Venkadathanur school. Its a remote village near Thuraiyur, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu
Grade 1 - 17 Students
Grade 2 - 25 Students
Grade 3 - 27 Students
Grade 4 - 27 Students
Grade 5 - 28 Students
Grade 6 - 22 Students
Grade 7 - 24 Students
Grade 8 - 19 Students
Total Students in the school is 191 Students.
Goal - Donate 20,000 words - get sponsor $200
We want to give 5 school supply items, (Notebook, Pencil, Crayons, Pouch, and Writing Pad) for Grade 1 to Grade 4
I wish we can get more for Grade 5 to Grade 8.
Planned School Supplies:
Notebook - 20 rs
Pencil(10 nos)- 40 rs
Crayons - 7.5 rs
Pouch - 10 rs
Writing Pad - 30 rs
Total per student - 117.5 rs.
That's about $2 per kid. Is it not cheap?
